Nowhere to hide: Facial Recognition is now an essential tool used by The Metropolitan Police to tackle crime.

“Within minutes in Ilford, east London, facial recognition technology identified a robbery suspect wanted since 2008. The Metropolitan Police, using FRT since 2016, now rely on it as a key tool. Commissioner Sir Mark Rowley hails it as transformative, citing successful trials at major events and its growing precision”.
